Silent Perfection.

A deep green fairway that feels springy and soft beneath your feet. A putting green that lets the ball roll as if on velvet. And all of it framed by the stunning mountain backdrop of the Zillertal. What many golfers simply call “perfect conditions” is, in truth, the result of a complex interplay of craftsmanship, expertise, experience — and a highly specialized team working behind the scenes.

A passion for perfection — all year round.

At Golfclub Zillertal-Uderns, an exceptionally large team of greenkeepers ensures perfect course conditions: more than 15 full-time specialists work on the course during the summer months, and in winter they move to the ski resorts operated by the Schultz Group. This year-round employment model provides planning security and keeps an experienced team together. Many of the greenkeepers were already involved in building the course — a valuable wealth of experience that is still visible on the greens today.

Mown by hand for perfect precision.

1.8 hectares of greens are spread across 26 putting surfaces — including those on the 18-hole course, the short game areas, and the spacious practice facilities. The largest green, on hole 9, measures an impressive 670 m². All greens are hand-mown five times a week — a rare practice carried out with such consistency, ensuring absolute precision and uniform cutting quality.
